How to 700 BioChem

Biochem is a Super important Crew skill for a raid character.  Being at level 700 will allow that character to use reusable Stims, medpacks and Adrenals, saving you a ton of Credits.  The guide will go over the fastest route I have found to get a new character to 700 in less than an hour.

Step 1 - Go Shopping

We will waste a lot of time traveling to a vendor countless times to buy supplies for the next crafting tier.  Buy everything ahead of time, so you can just focus your efforts on leveling companions and crafting.

The supplies for Shopping List A will need to be purchased using green jawa scrap, bought from another player off the GTN, or harvested from harvesting nodes on planets.  Jawa Scrap is my preferred method of obtaining the needed items.  I believe it takes around 10,000 green scrap to buy everything needed.

Goods for Shopping List B can be purchased with credits from the vendor on the fleet in the middle bay of the crew skills section.

The Two items in blue are from the prototype jawa vendor and need blue scrap or buy them or harvest them.

Step 2 - Start Crafting

Once you've talked to the biochem guy and taken it as a crew skill, buy the first level 1 recipe for crafting Dielectric Cell Grafts and craft away.  Use all available companions (except the one you will be leveling to 50) and get underway.  As you reach level 2 (80 points), talk to the vendor again to buy the next cell graft.  I do not recommend buying every crafting recipe.  Just stick with what you need to get the job done.  We will continue to repeat this process all the way to 700, so I recommend setting up camp in front of the skill's trainer to save time.

Step 3 - Level your Comps

Note that this can certainly be done as a step one.  I, however, like to level them as I go.  If you want to skip the hassle of leveling a companion, you can buy a token from the fleet vendor for 3 dark projects and some credits to instantly make your chosen companion level 50.  Certainly, the fastest option.

If you are leveling on a budget and have A LOT of purple jawa scraps, go to the vendor and buy up a few thousand "Armor Maintenance's".  Armor Maintenance can be used to level Droid companions.

T7-01
C2-N2
2V-R8

Are the cheaper droids to level at about 400 armor maintenances each.

Scorpio takes around 700-1000
M1-4F takes the most at around 1400

There are other droid companions you can get.

I believe it is lana and koth that can be leveled using the spiced alic tongue as well (bought with purple jawa scrap)

We need only 1–3 level 50 comps to get biochem finished quickly, so no need to overdo it.

Remember to unlock Legacy of Altruism III and Legacy of Promptness III for best results doing this.

Level up your droids with the armor maintenance while quing your other comps with the cell graft crafting. As your first droid hits 50 switch to them for crafting the main things as they will craft 400% faster. More droids = faster biochem leveling.

Keep crafting- At this point you should have at least 1-2 level 50 comps and should be using them exclusively for your crafting as you reach around the 300 level in biochem. This entire process usually takes me about 60-90 minutes. It's a grind, but the payoff from biochem 700 is well worth the investment. I would not raid on any toon that is not max biochem.

At level 600 you will need to purchase the onslaught authorization from the crew skill vendor. Do not forget this, or anything you attempt to craft passed the 600 mark will be done so in vain. Additionally, do not forget to switch to the blue cell crafts at 665 biochem, the green ones will not take you higher than that.
